Zero

The number zero has its roots in the Sanskrit śūnyā (शून्या), meaning ‘vacant’. It is a number deeply connected to Khaos and Kosmos, infinite potential, and the cycles of beginnings and ends. It is the Schrödinger’s Cat of numbers – or more accurately, the box which the cat (or lack thereof) is held within.

In numerology, by nature of the way its calculations are determined, zero does not often appear. If it does happen to appear in a specific reading you are doing, the number can be thought of as both an energetic source and amplifier of the one which it appears next to.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent zeroes are thought to be associated with epiphanies. Take note of your train of thought, your point of focus, or your topic of conversation when zero stands out.

One

The number has its roots in the Proto-Indo-European oi-no-, meaning ‘singular, unique’. It symbolic of independence and the self but also of new beginnings and the seeding of new opportunity. It is also closely associated with the energy of Sol – with victory, leadership, drive, confidence, and vibrant creativity.

In numerology, one is driven and perfectionistic to a fault. It highlights areas of our life where we may be critical or overachieving, while all the while craving a freedom we, ironically, may not be giving ourselves. One is a number of delegation, to be sure, but efforts will not be stopped by the laziness of the self or others, and the bar for laziness here is exceedingly low.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent ones are thought to be associated with matters that are particularly important to you. Your calling in life, your sense of authenticity, and your hopes and dreams are just a few examples of what these matters may entail; rarely will it involve others. As angel numbers go, 111 is associated with Archangel Uriel (meaning ‘Light of God’) whose domains are enlightenment, prophecy, alchemy, repentance, and matters of natural disasters. As 1111 (associated with the Order of the Angels), it is thought of as a message of stand-by: The angels are ready to assist you with the matters on your mind. You need only ask.

Two

The number two has its roots in Proto-Indo-European duwo, representative simply on the tangible quantity itself. It is symbolic of relationships/partnerships, balance, duality, trust, and compassion. It is also closely associated with the energy of Luna – with intuition, mysticism, sensitivity, love, and spiritual connection.

In numerology, two can be melancholic and withdrawn about its own needs while outwardly supporting the needs of others. It shows in areas which we may easily read others and hold a strong sense of empathy, though perhaps in a more detail-oriented way over bigger-picture perception. People associated with two who have a strong desire to be strong may sometimes act out of line to cover up their perceived sense of what they believe to be weakness.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent twos are thought to be associated with intuitive insights and a reminder to have faith in yourself/the concerns of others. As angel numbers go, 222 is associated with Archangel Haniel (meaning ‘Joy of God’) whose domains are optimism, grace, intuition, connection, and balance. As 2222 (associated with the Order of the Archangels), it is thought to be a reminder to lean on your personal network, both in realms of physical and spiritual.

Three

The number three has its roots in Proto-Indo-European trei-, representative simply on the tangible quantity itself. It is symbolic of magick, the Kosmic realm, the crossroads, and the ideal advancement of humanity according to the gods. It is also closely associated with the energy of Jupiter – with expansion, manifestation, influence, humor, and joy. The number three is considered a sacred number in many religious mythologies; trinity symbolism can be seen in many places.

In numerology, three bears the energy of the likeable leader. It’s a number which builds strong morale but can sometimes have a tendency to shoulder more weight than is distributed. Three calls for things to be done correctly and kept in order. In addition, it can be reflective when it comes to failure. To three, failure is an opportunity for self-evaluation. Every action contributes to improved forward momentum and upward growth in one way or another.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent threes are thought to be associated with the soul-driven contributions we can make for our community and for the world at large. As angel numbers go, 333 is associated with Archangel Jophiel (meaning ‘Beauty of God’) whose domains are productive creativity, innate beauty, wisdom, silver linings, and the Garden of Eden. As 3333 (associated with the Order of the Principalities), it is thought to be a calling to evaluate your community, either at a local level or on a national level. In what ways are you contributing to your society? You may either need to re-evaluate you contribution or to lean more heavily into it.

Four

The number four has its roots in Proto-Indo-European kwetwer-, representative simply on the tangible quantity itself. It is symbolic of stability, the Gaian realm, productivity, security, and personal control. It is also closely associated with the energy of Uranus – with rebellion, innovation, momentum, confidence, and ambition.

In numerology, four is stubborn and methodical about its own beliefs regarding how and where things should be. Anyone at odds with four’s idea of progress quickly becomes an obstacle or an adversary, and this may result in an unfortunate tendency to categorize those people accordingly. This may also result persistent dissatisfaction with nothing ever being good enough. To four, there is always room to make things better, safer, or smarter by one’s own societal beliefs.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent fours are thought to be associated with the need to reassess one’s beliefs and intentions, as with persistence, they always have a tendency to manifest in the physical for better or for worse. As angel numbers go, 444 is associated with Archangel Ariel (meaning ‘Lioness of God’) whose domains are nature, abundance, restoration, Divine instinct, and manifestation. As 4444 (associated with the Order of the Powers), it is thought to bring attention to your spiritual nature in accordance with your physical nature. Are these aspects of you in alignment? Either way, a physical manifestation is in the process of coming to fruition as a result.

Five

The number five has its roots in Proto-Indo-European penkwe-, representative simply on the tangible quantity itself. It is symbolic of intention, commerce, challenges/blockages, radical transformation, and manifestations of the idea of ‘as above, so below’. It is also closely associated with the energy of Mercury – with communication, movement, professional connections, adventure, and adaptability.

In numerology, five is a social butterfly and a chameleon from situation to situation. It’s good for both making friends and for networking professionally. For five, energy is never low. Burnout presents as high energy stress rather than sluggish exhaustion. The energy of five needs a steady, calm catalyst in order to slow it down.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent fives are thought to be associated with immanent change, important knowledge, and matters of travel. As angel numbers go, 555 is associated with Archangel Gabriel (meaning ‘Strength of God’) whose domains are Divine messages, clear communication, thorough understanding, conception, and fresh ideas. As 5555 (associated with the Order of the Virtues), it is thought to highlight information which may result in blessings and miracles which change your life and/or the lives of those around you in a big way.

Six

The number six has its roots in Proto-Indo-European s(w)eks-, representative simply on the tangible quantity itself. It is symbolic of alignment, receptivity, nurturing, responsibility, and the desire for utopia. It is also closely associated with the energy of Venus – with love, attraction, healing, empathy, and romanticism.

In numerology, six is one of the most trustworthy, charming, and idealistic energies you’ll come into contact with. At times, this can manifest as the archetype of the martyr, sacrificing one’s own wants and needs for the perceived greater good. It may also be optimistic about the future while sensitive to the less than pleasant aspects of the world. Ironically, despite being empathetic, six has a difficult time wearing the shoes of those who lack compassion and will struggle to understand those opposite energies.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent sixes are thought to be associated with nostalgia for the past, hope for the future, and the relationships between yourself and external energies. As angel numbers go, 666 is associated with Archangel Azrael (meaning ‘Helper of God’) whose domains are release, transition, finding comfort in darkness, the life review, and the inevitable endings which come before new beginnings. Biblically, 666 is often associated with Satan because it is also considered the number of the imperfection of mankind. In lighter perceptions, we can view it as the necessary washing away of imperfections in order to transform into something better. As 6666 (associated with the Order of the Dominions), it is thought to bring your attention to the current state of the world – or your nation or immediate community – which is out of your hands.

Seven

The number seven has its roots in Proto-Indo-European septm, representative simply on the tangible quantity itself. It is symbolic of insight, meaning/purpose, the soul’s journey, spiritual connection, and deep esoteric truths. It is also closely associated with the energy of Neptune – with childlike whismy, our true nature as spiritual beings, the messages of dreams, the optimism of “something more”, and the desire to slow down in the face of infinity.

In numerology, seven has a strong sense of intuition and often brings to mind extremely profound philosophical ideas. It is endlessly curious, in a rabbit hole that seemingly never ends. Grounding is important for those connected to this number, as they may be prone to losing themselves so deeply in the mysteries that they inadvertently neglect the practical. As a very dreamy number, similarly to two, people associated with seven who have a strong desire to be strong may sometimes act out of line to cover up their perceived sense of what they believe to be weakness.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent sevens are thought to be associated with deeper meaning, important intuitive messages, and philosophical understanding. As angel numbers go, 777 is associated with Archangel Chamuel (meaning ‘Seer of God’) whose domains are Divine love, self-love, relationships, genuine peace, and the recovery of things which were lost. As 7777 (associated with the Order of the Thrones), it is thought to convey a message which is deeply spiritual in nature.

Eight

The number eight has its roots in Proto-Indo-European okto(u), representative simply on the tangible quantity itself. It is symbolic of luck, success, material wealth, authority, and practicality. It is also closely associated with the energy of Saturn – with structure, pragmatism, justice, the aspiration for perfection, and resilience through adversity.

In numerology, eight can be a cynical or pessimistic number, because eight is a realist. Those connected with the number eight may have rougher experiences in life than most, and they tend to respond by hardening themselves and reinforcing their walls. On the flip side, if one is able to successfully overcome these adversities, the result is potentially massive success. It’s almost as if eight is a difficult puzzle waiting to be cracked, unique to each person who comes into contact with it.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent eights are thought to be associated with major challenges and lasting rewards. As angel numbers go, 888 is associated with Archangel Michael (meaning ‘Who is Like God’) whose domains are justice, courage against adversity, protection of the faithful, leadership of the Archangels, and the escorting of the dead to judgment. As 8888 (associated with the Order of the Cherubim), it is thought to highlight your role in life and, in particular, how your role has the potential to influence others and what that means for the future.

Nine

The number nine has its roots in Proto-Indo-European newn, representative simply on the tangible quantity itself. It is symbolic of honor, integrity, humanitarian duty, the big picture, and karmic circumstance. It is also closely associated with the energy of Mars – with physical action, passion, straightforwardness, the dismantling of obstacles, and unwavering justice.

In numerology, nine has a very clear understanding of right and wrong on a logical and spiritual level. It recognizes the finite nature of a single physical existence and the infinite nature of the great reality beyond it, and it is this truth which is worth fighting for. Those associated with the number nine have a tendency to lack a filter in many situations, not out of malice but because telling the truth is an honorable effort to them regardless of the emotional impact it may have. Similarly to eight, as self-perceived warriors of humanity, those connected with the number nine may have a challenging life of their own.

To those who interpret the recurring appearance of numbers as a sign, frequent nines are thought to be associated with long-term consequence, the betterment of humanity, and a need to attend to the health of the spiritual body. As angel numbers go, 999 is associated with Archangel Raphael (meaning ‘Healer of God’) whose domains are guidance, Divine healing, the protection of travelers, matchmaking, and scientific advancement. As 9999 (associated with the Order of the Seraphim), it is thought to be an urging to pause and assess the beauty of life that you may have been neglecting.

Numerology

In my practice, I use a combination of Pythagorean and Chaldean numerology. Pythagorean numerology, also called Western numerology, comes from the teachings of Ancient Greek philosopher and mathematician, Pythagoras (Πυθαγόρας). It is isopsephic in nature and involves the reduction of various numbers down to a single value. In this system, numbers (and mathematics in general) are considered the building blocks of the Kosmos. The thought process then goes that things of similar value bare similar energies or are otherwise connected in some way, just as in other isopsephic techniques. The equivalents of the letters of the Roman alphabet in Pythagorean numerology are as follows:

123456789
ABCDEFGHI
JKLMNOPQR
STUVWXYZ

Chaldean numerology, on the other hand – which has its roots in Chaldea, Babylonia – is based on that idea that the Kosmos is built on vibratory frequencies. This system places a stronger emphasis on the idea of destiny being unmovable and inevitable. Further, along with the reduction of numbers, Chaldean numerology takes into account the compound numbers that precede that reduction, offering deeper insights into the energies within those calculations. The numerical equivalents of the letters of the Roman alphabet in Chaldean numerology are alleged to have come from ancient clay tablets and exclude the number 9 due to the perceived sacredness of the number. They are as follows:

12345678
ABCDEUOF
IKGMHVZP
JRLTNW
QSX
Y

When I initially began my studies in numerology, the Pythagorean alphanumeric chart was my tool of choice for calculations. Allow me to suggest a different approach, however: The use of the isopsephic value chart applied to the phonetic sounds of the Roman alphabet. You may notice that quite a few similarities to the Chaldean chart are present – not to mention, it applies the principle of sound being the key to numerical valuation. Given that we don’t have an exact history to why the alphabet is ordered the way it is beyond that alphabets have been known to have a particular order since the invention of the Greek alphabet, I have come to see little esoteric reason to chart the Roman alphabet in same orderly manner. This is now the chart I use:

123456789
ABCDEWOHJ
IKGMFXZPQ
RSLUN
VTY

Unlike other forms of divination, numerology (similarly to astrology) lays a foundation which is unchanging, but I disagree with the Chaldean idea that this makes the outcome inevitable. Instead, I’d describe it as a predisposition. One’s chart is connected to a series of energies that come together to describe the person you are and the outcomes which are likely for you, but it does not prevent you from actively going against the grain. It may be difficult; you may face a great deal of obstacles. This, I feel, is the true benefit of such forms of divination. In being more aware of our blueprint, we can begin to understand our patterns at scales both small and large. It paints a picture of what things we may need to work harder on, what pursuits could come easily to us, and how to achieve radical transformation we otherwise would not consider. From there, other forms of divination, like tarot and cleromancy, can give us a read on our current energetic forecast for the path we are on.

The Expression Number

Also called the Destiny Number, Life Theme Number, or Total Name Number, the Expression Number offers insight into the potential of your Ideal Self, including the natural capabilities you already possess and the challenges which you may need to overcome to unlock it fully. This is the type of person you should strive to be to get the most fulfillment and authenticity out of this incarnation. To calculate one’s Expression Number, you add and reduce the numerical values of all the letters in your full birth name. I use the example of Stevie Nicks who was born as Stephanie Lynn Nicks. Note that, for these examples, I will also be using the numerology chart I personally work with, as described above.

STEPHANIE LYNN NICKS = 235881515 3455 51322
2 + 3 + 5 + 8 + 8 + 1 + 5 + 1 + 5 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 1 + 3 + 2 + 2 = 68 === 6 + 8 = 14 === 1 + 4 = 5
Thus, Stevie’s Expression Number is 5. The compound number becomes 14/5.

Your name also reveals three additional numbers of importance: your Active Number (or First Name Number), your Layer Number (or Middle Name Number), and your Heredity Number (or Last Name Number), calculated by your first name, middle name, and last name, respectively.

The Active Number

The Active Number, or First Name Number, offers insight into the way which your persona is perceived upon initial impressions. To calculate one’s Active Number, you add and reduce the numerical values of your first name. You’ll notice that I reference two different names here: Her birth name and her most commonly used nickname. This is because the name you go by can have just as much of an energetic influence over your persona as your given name.

STEPHANIE = 235881515 or STEVIE = 235215
2 + 3 + 5 + 8 + 8 + 1 + 5 + 1 + 5 = 38 === 3 + 8 = 11 === 1 + 1 = 2
Thus, Stevie’s Active Number (as Stephanie) is 2. The compound number becomes 11/2.
or 2 + 3 + 5 + 2 + 1 + 5 = 18 === 1 + 8 = 9
Thus, Stevie’s Active Number (as Stevie) is 9. The compound number becomes 18/9.

The Layer Number

The Layer Number (as I call it), or Middle Name Number, can offer some additional insight into the energetic influences over your persona. To calculate one’s Layer Number, you add and reduce the numerical values of your middle name(s). People with multiple middle names may have a more layered and complex persona, while people with no middle name can tend towards practicality. Note that these are neutral considerations, and neither circumstance is better or worse than the other.

LYNN = 3455
3 + 4 + 5 + 5 = 17 === 1 + 7 = 8
Thus, Stevie’s Layer Number is 8. The compound number becomes 17/8.

The Heredity Number

The Heredity Number, or Last Name Number, offers insight into the energy which stems from family lineage. To calculate one’s Heredity Number, you add and reduce the numerical values of your last birth name. For a clearer picture, it’s a good idea to consider the Heredity Number of the parent whose last name one did not inherit, as well. Stevie Nicks was born to Jess Seth Nicks and Barbara Meeks.

NICKS = 5322 and MEEKS = 45522
5 + 3 + 2 + 2 = 12 === 1 + 2 = 3 and 4 + 5 + 5 + 2 + 2 = 18 === 1 + 8 = 9
Thus, Stevie’s Heredity Number on her father’s side is 3. The compound number becomes 12/3.
Stevie’s Heredity Number on her mother’s side is 9. The compound number becomes 18/9.

The Ideal Number

The name can also be broken down into vowels. Also called the Heart’s Desire Number and the Soul Urge Number, the Ideal Number (as I call it) offers insight into your deeply embedded goals, desires, and motivations. To calculate one’s Ideal Number, you add and reduce the numerical values of the vowels in your full birth name.

STEPHANIE LYNN NICKS = EAIE Y I = 5115 4 1
5 + 1 + 1 + 5 + 4 + 1 = 17 = 1 + 7 = 8
Thus, Stevie’s Ideal Number is 8. The compound number becomes 17/8.

The Persona Number

Likewise, the name can be broken down into consonants. Also called the Personality Number or Character Number, the Persona Number (as I call it), or Persona Number, offers insight into the way which you are most naturally perceived by the world around you. To calculate one’s Persona Number, you add and reduce the numerical values of the consonants in your full birth name.

STEPHANIE LYNN NICKS = STPHN LNN NCKS = 23885 355 5322
2 + 3 + 8 + 8 + 5 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 3 + 2 + 2 = 51 === 5 + 1 = 6
Thus, Stevie’s Persona Number is 6. The compound number becomes 51/6.

The Life Path Number Number

The Life Path Number offers insight into the energetic direction of your soul and the traits and obstacles which may stem from this direction. To calculate one’s Life Path Number, you add and reduce the digits of your birth date. I will continue to use the example of Stevie Nicks who was born on May 26, 1948.

[Month] + [Day] + [Year] = May (5) + 26 + 1948
5 + 2 + 6 + 1 + 9 + 4 + 8 = 35 === 3 + 5 = 8
Thus, Stevie’s Life Path Number is 8. The compound number becomes 35/8.

Like your name, your birthday also reveals three additional numbers of importance, your Month Vibration, your Day Vibration (or Base Vibration), and your Year Vibration.

The Month Vibration

The Month Vibration offers additional insight into the way which your persona is perceived upon initial impressions. Unlike your Active Number, the Month Vibration cannot be changed in this incarnation and will always bear influence. To calculate one’s Month Vibration, you add and reduce the digits of your birth month (i.e. January is 1, February is 2, March is 3, and so on).

Certain schools of Chaldean numerology implement a pattern known as the Destiny Rhythm in the ranks of the month and the year. In my practice, I take a more general isopsephic approach, meaning that months, days, and years which reduce to your birthday may be more energetically influential for you.

[Month] = May (5) = 5
Thus, Stevie’s Month Vibration is 5. There is no compound number in this case.
The month of May (the only month which reduces to 5) will be a particularly energetically strong month for her each year.

The Day Vibration

The Day Vibration, or Base Vibration, offers insight into your purpose for stepping into the experience of this incarnation and acts as a gateway between the current incarnation and the psykhe. To calculate one’s Day Vibration, you add and reduce the digits of the day of your birth day.

[Day] = 26 === 2 + 6 = 8
Thus, Stevie’s Day Vibration is 8. The compound number becomes 26/8.
The days of the month which reduce to 4 (the 4th, 13th, 22nd, and 31st) will be particularly energetically strong days for her.

The Year Vibration

The Year Vibration offers additional insight into your inner values. To calculate one’s Year Vibration, you add and reduce the digits of the day of your birth year.

[Year] = 1948 === 1 + 9 + 4 + 8 = 22 === 2 + 2 = 4
Thus, Stevie’s Life Path Number is 4. The compound number becomes 22/4.
Any year which reduces to 4 will be a particularly energetically strong year for her.

Other Calculations

Chaldean numerology breaks the main numerological numbers down further by examining the relationships between all of them. These calculations are as follows:

  • The Auric Numbers are connective numbers which describe the relationships between the individual Expression, Active, Heredity, Day, Month, and Year Numbers. These calculations will become clearer when laying them out cleanly on a numeroscope, which we will cover in the next section.
  • The Phrenes Numbers (as I call them), or Heart Center Numbers, are connective numbers which describe the relationships between the Auric Numbers 2 and 3 and the Layer Number and is deeply impactful on our mindset, philosophy, moral values, worldly perceptions, and upper body health.
  • The Gaster Numbers (as I call them), or Solar Plexus Center Numbers, are connective numbers which describe the relationships between the Auric Numbers 1 and 4 and the Layer Number and is deeply impactful on our sexuality, lower body health, base needs and instincts, and the most private parts of our inner world.
  • The Minor Destiny Number is the reduction of the addition of your individual Day, Month, and Year Vibrations (as opposed the Life Path Number, which is the vibration of your date of birth in its entirety prior to reduction) and influences your Life Path Number to reveal deep information regarding the journey of the Psykhe through all incarnations.
  • The Spine Numbers are the reduction of the addition of your Day Vibration and your Expression Number which reveal the result of these energies when being in alignment.
  • The Impression Numbers (as I call them), or Appearance Numbers, are the reduction of the addition of the Expression, Active, Heredity, Day, and Auric Numbers which reveal initial impressions strangers may having prior to knowing us.
  • The Vitality Numbers are the reduction of the addition of our Phrenes, Gaster, and Layer Numbers which reveal the overall state of our physical and mental health.
  • The Philosophy Number (as I call it), or Life View Number, is the reduction of the addition of our Day, Month, Year, and Auric Numbers which reveals the portion of our philosophy which stems from the journey of the Psykhe.
  • Finally, the Column Numbers are the reduction of the addition of the Day, Expression, Phrenes, and Gaster Numbers which offer insight into the foundation which all of the above numbers operate on. The more stable the foundation, the more stable this area of our lives will tend to be. The opposite is also the case, and in such a case, we may need to take our lives a bit easier.
Lucky Numbers

Your Life Path, Ideal, and Expression Numbers, are considered lucky numbers in your life. The single luckiest number for you, however, is considered to be the addition and reduction for all three together. I will continue to use the example of Stevie Nicks whose Life Path Number is 8, Ideal Number is 8, and Expression Number is 5.

8 + 8 + 5 = 21 === 2 + 1 = 3
Thus, Stevie’s primary Lucky Number is 3, with the secondary Lucky Numbers of 8 and 5.

Master Numbers

Master Numbers are repetitive compound numbers which represent an amplified energy of the number it reduces to. These numbers include 11/2, 22/4, 33/6, and 44/8. Doubles beyond this are not considered to be Master Numbers, as 55 (10/1), 66 (12/3), 77 (14/5), 88 (16/7), and 99 (18/9) all require further reduction.

Karmic Numbers

Karmic Debt Numbers are compound numbers which indicate potential issues from other incarnations in need of addressing. Typically, the numbers which fall into this category are 13/4, 14/5, 16/7, and 19 (which reduces to 10/1). I have been unable to find the reasoning behind why these numbers specifically are connected to karmic debt. More research is needed in this regard, so if anyone happens to have information regarding the history of why these numbers are associated with karmic debt, please share.

The Numeroscope

My personal version of a numeroscope, labeled numerically and corresponding with the information provided below.

The numeroscope is a chart used to aid in the visual analysis of one’s numerology. Complex versions of these charts first appeared after World War I in Pythagorean numerological practices, and after World War II, Chaldean numerologists began using a more simplified version. Today, there is no unified approached which is considered a “better” or more “complete” numeroscope, but the Danish school of Chaldean numerology (founded by August Darius Danielsson and expanded upon by Johannes and Estel Ehwass) has likely had the strongest influence in recent years with their numeroscopes inspired by the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The numeroscopes they use are broken down into three or five sections: The Human Self/Name Chart, the Higher Self/Birthday Chart, the Highest Self/Psychic Chart, the Vocation Chart, and the Personality Chart. This has influenced my own numeroscope.

The Incarnate Chart

The biggest section of the chart – the large rhombus in the center – is commonly called the Human Self or the Name Chart. In my readings, I like to label this section as the Incarnate Chart. As the name suggests, this portion of the reading pertains to the overall experience in this incarnation, including what we may have stepped into the incarnation intending to experience. It includes the following numbers:

  • [1] The Expression Number
  • [2] The Active Number
  • [3] The Layer Number
  • [4] The Heredity Number
  • [9] The Day Vibration
  • [11] Auric Number 1
  • [12] Auric Number 2
  • [13] Auric Number 3
  • [14] Auric Number 4
  • [15] Phrenes Numbers
  • [16] Gaster Numbers
  • [18] Spine Number
  • [19] Impression Number
  • [20] Vitality Number
  • [22] Column Number
The Spark Chart

The small triangle above the Incarnate Chart is commonly called the Higher Self or the Birthday Chart. In my readings, I like to label this section as the Spark Chart. It displays the relationship between the current Incarnation and the Psykhe and shows how information from the Psykhe may be conveyed and received. It includes the following numbers:

  • [7] Life Path Number
  • [8] Month Vibration
  • [9] Day Vibration
  • [10] Year Vibration
  • [11] Auric Number 1
  • [12] Auric Number 2
  • [13] Auric Number 3
  • [17] Minor Destiny Number
  • [21] Philosophy Number
The Psykhe Chart

The medium rhombus to the top right of the Incarnate is commonly called the Highest Self or the Psychic Chart. In my readings, I like to label this section as the Psykhe Chart. It provides information about the rawer and more authentic version of us which stems from our Psykhe. It may also reveal information about the journey of the Psykhe. It includes the following numbers:

  • [1] The Expression Number
  • [8] Month Vibration
  • [9] Day Vibration
  • [10] Year Vibration
  • [11] Auric Number 1
  • [12] Auric Number 2
  • [13] Auric Number 3
  • [14] Auric Number 4
  • [15] Phrenes Numbers
  • [16] Gaster Numbers
  • [18] Spine Number
  • [19] Impression Number
  • [20] Vitality Number
  • [22] Column Number
The Ideal Chart

The small rhombus to the top left of the Incarnate Chart is commonly called the Vocation Chart. In my readings, I like to label this section as the Ideal Chart. It provides a more thorough breakdown of the Ideal Number, including individual calculations for the first (Active Number), middle (Layer Number), and last names (Heredity Number), similarly to how the name is broken down in the Incarnate.

  • [5] Ideal Number
  • [9] Day Vibration
  • [11] Auric Number 1
  • [12] Auric Number 2
  • [13] Auric Number 3
  • [14] Auric Number 4
  • [15] Phrenes Numbers
  • [16] Gaster Numbers
  • [22] Column Number
The Persona Chart

The small rhombus to the bottom left of the Incarnate Chart is commonly called the Personality Chart. In my readings, I like to label this section as the Persona Chart. It provides a more thorough breakdown of the Persona Number, including individual calculations for the first (Active Number), middle (Layer Number), and last names (Heredity Number), similarly to how the name is broken down in the Incarnate.

  • [5] Persona Number
  • [9] Day Vibration
  • [11] Auric Number 1

Isopsephia

Isopsephia (íσοψῆφία, meaning ‘equal pebbles’) is the practice of adding up the values of numerical values of words or phrases to form a single number then analyzing the potential connections to other words or phrases which hold the same value. This is comparable to practices like Kabbalistic gematria and Arabic Abjad numerals. Early references to the practice of isopsephia can be seen as far back as the teachings of Apollonios of Pergaios and graffiti found around Pompeii dated at around 79 A.D. Below is the traditional alphanumeric chart of Ancient Greece (which include the Ancient Greek letters ϝ, ϙ, and ϡ):

123456789
x 1Αα (AH)Ββ (B/V)Γγ (G/CH)Δδ (D)Εε (E)Ϝϝ/Ϛϛ (W/ST)Ζ ζ (Z)Ηη (H/EH)Θθ (TH)
x 10Ιι (I)Κκ (K)Λλ (L)Μμ (M)Νν (N)Ξξ (X)Οο (O)Ππ (P)(Ϙϙ) (Q)
x 100Ρρ (R)Σσ (S)Ττ (T)Υυ (Y/U)Φφ (F/PH)Χχ (KH)Ψψ (PS)Ωω (O)Ϡϡ (TS/TJ)

The sounds which each letter makes are notes in the parentheses beside the letters. With that in mind, this is how I personally chart the alphanumerical translation of the modern Roman alphabet:

123456789
x 1AaBbGg/CcDdEeWwZzHh
x 10IiKkLlMmNnXxOoPpQq
x 100RrSsTtYy/UuFfJj

Isopsephia is, ultimately, what led to the practice of numerology. Thus, the chart above is also what I have based my numerological chart on which I shared in the earlier section on numerology.
