Description
This is Murray & Lanman’s classic Florida Water fragrance in the form of solid bar soap! Originating in either Italy or France, Florida Water was brought over to New Orleans with some of the earlier perfumers and became quickly beloved for its clean unisex fragrance. Given the nature of its preparation, however – an alcohol base with the distilled essential oils of various botanicals – it quickly became considered a favored spiritual water among southern folk magick practitioners both here in the United States and down as far as South America. It is known for its cleansing, renewing, and protective properties and for its common appreciation as an offering or anointing tool among various spirits and deities within a wide variety of American mythos. With its notes of lemon peel, bergamot, orange blossom absolute, neroli, rose, lavender, cinnamon, and clove, everyone – in our realm and others – seems to love Florida Water (myself included)!
