A simple, unscented gray jar candle for all your gray candle magick needs. 💡 The Witch’s Recommendations: Plain, unscented jar candles can be used as is. All you truly need to add is your own intentional energy. Many people, however, will also dress their candle with herbs, carve symbols or sigils into it, and/or anoint it with oils. A simple candle magick spell is to write your intention as a paper petition, fold it (towards or away from yourself, depending on whether you are intention to attract or repel something), place is underneath the candle, hold the candle while you push your intention into it, then light it and let it go. If you must snuff your candle, it is recommended to use a candle snuffer to make the most of the candle’s energy, as it’s thought that blowing on the flame can push some of those energies away.

🕯️ Candle Care & Safety: Always burn candles on a heat-safe surface away from direct sunlight, other sources of heat, and flammable items (such as curtains, alcohol, etc.), and never leave a lit candle unattended. For a clean burn every time, snip the fully cooled wick at the tip to clear away char between burns – though, be mindful not to snip it so short that it won’t have room to light. For an even melt, be sure to let the top layer of wax melt as completely as possible during each burn. This preserves wax memory and prevents your candle from getting into a habit of melting wax only at its center. For best longevity of your candle and its color and fragrance, store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
