Petrified wood is a type of fossil formed through the perimineralization of woody stems buried in wet sediment. The lack of oxygen slows the decay of the wood, allowing it to slowly and organically be cast by minerals. The word ‘petrification’ comes from the Greek ‘πέτρα’ (petra), meaning ‘rock’ or ‘stone’. Petrified wood is good for workings related to grounding, order, restoration, and the afterlife realm.

Crystals carved and sanded into palm stones are exactly as they sound – the perfect size and shape to fit into the palm of the hand. As such, they make a great stone for meditation or for providing their energy to you in an inconspicuous way while out and about. This particular lot sits at approximately 2.25″ wide with some variance.
