Description

Obsidian is a type of volcanic glass which was named for the Latin ‘Obsianus’, meaning ‘stone of Obsius’ (the name of the Roman man who discovered it). Due to its jagged nature upon being broken, it has been frequently used in the past to craft blades. Obsidian is good for protection, cleansing, grounding, balance, and binding.

Crystals carved into specific shapes and figures have the added energetic bonus of whatever symbol they are seeking to embody. Like raw crystals, carved crystals will gently radiate their energetic signature wherever they sit. This particular lot sits at approximately 2″ wide.
