Description
Jasper is a type of mineral aggregate of quartz, chalcedony, and various inclusions (typically iron) which was named for the Old French ‘jaspre’, meaning ‘spotted or speckled’, due to the appearance given to it by its inclusions. Kiwi Jasper – also called ‘Sesame Jasper’ – a gorgeous variant found at Sesame Creek in Queensland, Australia – is a lighter variant of the common Jasper and is thought to have inclusions of amazonite and tourmaline. Jasper is good for workings related to protection, growth, passion, and motivation. As its Kiwi variant, it also becomes good for workings related to luck, money, success, cleansing, inner peace, endings, and confidence. With its titanium-made aura sheen, its gains additional energies related to the galactic realm and the inner child.
Crystals carved into points or obelisks act as a sort of conduit or battery for the energy they align with. Keeping points or obelisks near something will naturally imbue it with that crystal’s energy. It can also be used like a wand or athame, held in your hand and out toward the point of focus you would like to send its energy into. It’s an incredible versatile and intuitive shape for any crystal in your collection. This particular lot sits at approximately 3″ in height, with only very small variation above or below that height.
💡 The Witch’s Recommendations: Immediately upon holding these stones, I felt a connection to my inner child. feel this is not only due to the titanium aura overlay, but also the Kiwi variant of jasper itself. Now, with stones that have been put any kind of treatment – such as stones with an aura sheen – I would always recommend giving them some extra nurturing attention when you first receive them. They’ve been through a lot to be made into the specimens they are today, and, moreover, you never know the energy being put into them by those giving them the treatment. Take some time holding the stone, sitting with it, meditating with it, appreciating it, and expressing gratitude for it before setting it out for display or altar dressing or before using it in any kind of serious working.
