Description
Gargoyles – also called grotesques – are an invention of Gothic architecture which are often fixed to the roof of buildings to drain rainwater and ward off evil, often depicting various types of khimaira. These gargoyles stand at about 6.5″ tall and sport the look of a winged toad, making it perfect financial protection.
The Witch’s Recommendations: The little goth gal that I am, naturally, I adore gargoyles. As this one sports a toad, which is quite a wonderful symbol for financial prosperity and stability, it’s a wonderful addition to a prosperity altar. Given the toadstool it’s seated upon, it’s also a great companion for working with the fae.
